The Republican Congressmen have sent a letter to the Fed and the Op-Ed pages warning Ben and Co. at the Fed not to provide anymore monetary stimulus to the system.
The Fed will most likely include language this afternoon (and certainly in post- blackout speeches) that Fiscal policy, while long term unbalanced, needs to support the floundering recovery.
Well before the 2008 melt down, most were convinced that the policy mistakes of the 1930's would surely not be repeated. The headlines this week have highlighted Tax increases, Budget cuts, Regulatory burden and Trade wars.
